Just months into its launch, the new Campus Suite school communications platform is already getting noticed in the edtech sector as among the best and the brightest. Campus Suite was recently recognized as a ‘Cool Tool’ in the EdTech Digest 2016 awards competition.

Known for its easy-to-use website content management system (CMS) and website hosting for schools, Campus Suite has evolved into a more comprehensive communications platform. In addition to a new and improved user interface on its website management tools, Campus Suite now has expanded capabilities with the addition of notifications, mobile apps and social media to its offering.

The new Campus Suite platform is the culmination of over 15 years serving school communications.

“Schools were coming to us asking for ways to integrate all these critical communications channels into one platform,” said Eric Fulkert, CEO of Campus Suite. “So through a combination of our own innovative development and strategic ties with school technology partners, we’ve bundled the services schools need most into one unified suite of communications tools.”

Fulkert says that while every school should be using and looking at ways to better manage all these channels, not all schools are prepared to dive in all at once. “A district can pick and choose the solutions they want; adding them as they go if they so desire,” said Fulkert. “We’re committed to transforming Campus Suite into a one-stop communications shopping resource for schools.”

Victor Rivero, editor-in-chief of EdTech Digest, a resource for educators tracking emerging technologies for schools, oversees the awards program. "This year's program had some very stiff competition, hard decisions were made in selecting winners,” said Rivero. “The honorees here are among the best and brightest in the edtech space. Finalists and winners both represent an achievement. We're proud to honor these cool tools, leaders and trendsetters in education technology,"

"Technology is opening the door to a renaissance in education," he says. "The edtech sector has experienced tremendous growth in the past several years, and there is also tremendous quality of products and very talented people out there. These honorees are among edtech's best and brightest."
